Dame Judi Dench
If there’s one thing guaranteed to put a dampener on an evening at the theatre for 50% of the audience, it’s the queue for the ladies’ loo at the interval. Last week, at a South-West London theatre (and Artifax client) close to my home, a fellow audience member and I actually high-fived on being the first to the facilities (it was that kind of show!).
So, I’m delighted that the Theatres Trust (of which Artifax is a corporate supporter) is extending the deadline for applications for their Spend a Penny Grant Scheme. The new deadline for that scheme and their UK Small Grants Scheme is Monday 31 October 2016 at 5pm.
Apparently, according to the relevant British Standard, a 500-seat auditorium should have 8 ladies’ loos…
…wouldn’t that be loverly?!
