Auckland Museum previously had a custom designed venue booking system, which had undergone a series of enhancements to resolve critical issues around double booking, re-occurring booking and notification workflows. ArtifaxEvent has resolved such issues through providing a unified and consistent set of event planning and resource management processes, and tools for all Museum events. We also have improved visibility (filtered as required) of parallel and related events for both staff and visitors.
The commercial team confirm that the entire booking process from initial enquiry to sending out final invoices has been streamlined, resulting in a greater focus on customer service than on administrative duties.
Auckland Museum is located in Auckland, New Zealand and our location in the southern hemisphere meant that project implementation (along with on‐going support and maintenance) is managed by Get Smart Consultancy on behalf of Artifax UK. The nature of the integration with Tessitura [ticketing online and front of house] and the deployment of both systems across a wide range of departments in the Museum required significant planning and consultation, both prior to and during implementation.
